A.K. Moftah is a complete idiot!
There, I said it.
Or was, to be fair—for he didn’t quite appreciate the role his father played in his life. But after he himself had four children, that changed 180 degrees. Now, he sees and wants the whole world to see.
And that’s how "KILO and HALF, and The Secret of Taos Hum", his fifth child, was born.
The screenplay version of this book was nominated for Best Comedy, Best Original Concept and Best Overall Script in the Oaxaca Film Festival, and made Winner for Best Comedy in the Filmmaking International Screenwriting Contest.
When he is not writing or drawing (he drew the cover of this book) or doing engineering stuff at his own company in Egypt, A.K. Moftah studies for his Master's degree or just pulls silly pranks on his wife and kids and laughs at their expressions until his face hurts.
